I have to admit that I was late to catch on to the flavored butter craze. But now I am a believer! This is a super simple (and quick) recipe that will make any baked good seem extra special (especially these Pumpkin Spice Waffles and Pumpkin Muffins with Cinnamon Streusel and Coconut Pecan Swirl). I love how you can see the cinnamon specks throughout the blended butter. The maple is subtle and pleasant, and the brown sugar adds an extra dose of sweetness. I hope you enjoy this sweet taste of fall. Once you have all the ingredients in a bowl, simply stir them together…and you’re done!
- 4 Tablespoons butter, room temperature
- 1 Tablespoon maple syrup*
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- *If you can, buy the real stuff. There’s a world of difference between maple syrup and “maple-flavored” syrup.
- Simply cream the ingredients together with a spoon or spatula. It's really that easy!
